Goodwill Job Fair to feature over 1,000 job openings
PHOENIX (September 14, 2009) — Goodwill of Central Arizona will be hosting approximately 20 employers at their upcoming job fair on Tuesday, Sept. 22. These employers will collectively represent more than 1,000 job openings in the Valley.
As part of the organization’s ongoing commitment to help individuals prepare for and find work through education and employment, Goodwill will be hosting its fourth off- site job fair of the year in Phoenix.

Streets of New York hosts Patriots’ Day Salute on 9/11 to benefit local public safety charity
For the second consecutive year, Streets of New York will provide the public with an opportunity to eat out and salute Arizona’s public safety officers and firefighters at the same time. During Patriot’s Day weekend, Streets of New York welcomes any and all supporters of public safety to enjoy lunch and/or dinner at any of their Arizona locations. A portion of the proceeds from the weekend will be donated to the 100 Club in support of the men and women of public safety in Arizona.

PHOENIX (August 12, 2009) — An internal mid-year report indicates that Goodwill of Central Arizona is set for another record-breaking year of serving Arizona youth and adults in their quest to become independent through the power of work. The nonprofit organization, which is committed to providing high-quality job training and employment services to individuals with vocational barriers and disabilities, is on track to nearly double the number of individuals seeking its human services.
